Southpoint

I've lived here for 2.5 years, it was great with the staff for the first 2 years, since a complete change of management in fall 2016 it has gone to shit.

They had workers in my apartment doing concrete work outside, the workers smoked outside with the door open and let the smell inside as well as concrete dust. I complained about it to the new manager, they barely said sorry, basically said that's to bad and left me with an apartment coated in white dust.

The underground parking door is always broken allowing anyone to access the "secure" parking.

The building is dirty there can be garbage in the hallways for weeks before someone picks it up, the staff is really incompetent and useless and i would not recommend this building to anyone, for the price of rent there are far better options.

PS if anyone from universal properties is reading this it'd be nice if you would stop dodging my emails :) thanks

Horrible supervisors along with on-going water issues and construction work through out the summer. This apartment was a living nightmare and no good security. I would not recommend this apartment building to anyone.

Had 3 weeks to find an apartment in halifax before starting work at the Qe2 hospital, Ended up renting a jr 1 bedroom here, Landlords very friendly and helpful with any issues i have had, very quiet building. The pool and the tennis court are awesome in the summer, would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice, clean and affordable apartment in south end halifax!
