After paying the deposit I showed up and found out the lady was operating an illegal boarding house apparently and that no one was allowed to move in according to the owners. Whoever was advertising the place sure didn't tell me she didn't own it. She stole my deposit and a bunch of other people's deposits she even stole one guys rent for the entire month.

I was only in the place briefly and it didn't look very well maintained either

Avoid this place like the plague

Collapsing floors, damaged pipes, mice infestation, fruit fly infestation, holes in wall, old cracked paint. Lady renting the place regularly abuses the tenancy act and kicks people out without notice, changes the locks in violation of the tenancy act, steals damage deposits and uses the place as her own personal dump for her moving business. At one point there was over 80 garbage bags and 200-300 lbs worth of bulk garbage stored on the premise.

Don't expect to get your damage deposit back, regardless of how you are as a tenant

Don't live here! The house is falling apart and the landlady refused to give the security deposit back after I moved out. The land lady frequently blasts loud music and it can be hard to focus at times. You've been warned!
