Our experience with Cousins realty from day one was horrible. There are cockroaches and mice in the apartment. In spite of informing the superintendent about it a lot of times, he has the audacity to tell us when we vacate that we didn't let him know about it enough. False fire alarm go off all the time, sometimes even during midnight, which is very annoying because you need to be ready to leave the apartment anytime of the day or night.The management didn't seem to be worried about the pests when lots of residents decided to move out but were very keen on signing up lease with new tenants. Looks like they are only interested in covering up the problem and not dealing with it. And they are also more than ready to dump lots of expenses on you, so you are lucky if you can get atleast half of your deposit back. I've learnt my lesson the hard way and would never deal with Cousins realty ever again. If I could, I would give negative rating to -5 and would strongly NOT recommend it to anyone.

The poorly maintained building is plagued with bedbugs, cockroaches, ants and mice, and owners (Cousins Realty) does little or nothing to prevent it. In fact, will hike rents or evict tenants that complain too much. Fire safety has been an ongoing issue ignored by the owners/Manager. Renting here, you put your life in jeopardy. Avoid it at all costs.
