When looking at the apartment, two of the selling points were an extra parking spot and the 6000sq foot gym that was supposed to be ready two weeks after we moved in. There was also a 2000 air miles incentive.
After 10 months of living here, outside parking was never sorted out and we never received our second parking spot, resulting in about 400 dollars in parking tickets. The gym is still not ready, there isn't a single piece of equipment in there. We never received our 2000 air miles.
There's apparently a "military incentive", which, both of us being in the military have never received.
The undergound parking, where my room mate would keep his jeep, was getting renovated and there was a letter that went out giving two weeks notice to move the vehicle or it would be towed. Being in the military - sometimes you deploy! Underground parking was a seemingly safe spot to leave a vehicle while on a deployment, but apparently not. Luckily, I got back the day before his jeep was going to get towed and was able to rescue it from being auctioned off due to being towed and not recovered for months.
The last thing that is the fact that we're both deploying and would like to end our lease one month early, so that we aren't paying 1800 / month for a storage unit. Obviously they can't do that either. I've dealt with some pretty terrible land lords and companies, but not like this. Never, ever, deal with these people.
