When you're looking for an apartment, you tend to look at a lot of ads. Sometimes it can be hard to remember which ads you've already seen, especially when searching over several days. And of course you never want to accidentally pass over the perfect apartment, so you'll always double check. Keeping track of hundreds of ads can be frustrating and a needless waste of time.

To help solve this problem, we've added visual indicators to show you which ads you've already clicked on. Clicking on an ad (the actual website link) will turn it's map icon grey, and the corresponding list entry will have a grey background. You can watch these changes happen in front of you as soon as you click on an ad, and we'll automatically remember these every time you use Rent Donkey!

These changes will help you search with confidence and efficiency, knowing that you're not accidentally overlooking any apartments, and you're not wasting your time repeatedly clicking on the same ads.

Room Rentals & Shared Apartments
We added a new accommodation type: "Room / Shared" accommodations. Many people may not want a dedicated apartment to themselves, or might want to take advantage of the financial benefit of sharing an apartment. Certainly it is often cheaper to share a three bedroom apartment with two other people than it is to have your own 1 bedroom apartment. Not to mention you can split the utility costs, and maybe make some new friends at the same time. Which is where this category comes in.

Already with hundreds of listings for the Halifax area, there are plenty of shared apartments to choose from. Also people who are looking for their own one bedroom apartment will be pleased to have the shared accommodation listings removed from the "1 bedroom" category.
